Hi, I wanted to thank you guys really quick for 253 watchers. I am amazed that I have that many even though I am not the most talented writer or artist. I haven't even posted anything artistic for a while. I am so flattered and just... thank you! I know it probably isn't that big of an achievement to some, but I just wanted to let you guys know I appreciate it. Now let's get to the other reason I wanted to write this journal entry.

I plan to get a tarantula. I was considering a budgerigar (and I may still get one), but I feel like a tarantula would make less noise and are overall an easier pet to have. And a lot of people get tarantulas to get over their fear of spiders. And I love tarantulas but am terrified of a house spider when I don't know what type of spider it is and can only kill it by vacuuming it up from a good few feet away. So maybe an eight-legged friend will help me be able to just catch the intruders and release them outside where they belong.

I am going to get an adult female. Because with adults I hear you are less likely to accidently kill, and you have to change the size of the terrarium as a spiderling grows from juvenile to adult. And I would want a female because they live A LOT longer than males, I believe with the species I have my eye on the females in captivity live about 20 to 30 years while males live about 5 to 10 years.

The species I will be getting will be a grammostola pulchra, AKA Brazilian black tarantula www.google.com/search?q=grammo… . The names I have thought of so far are Morticia (because why not) and Fuzzy (so when I first tell people about them they'll think it is a cat or a dog or a hamster, ergo being very surprised at what it actually is). I want to see what names you guys might have for the little gal, because who knows maybe I'll find a name I really like. It may be a while before I get her but when I will I will probably post a lot of her on here.

Okay, so... I am not the best at art. I am decent but still have a lot to learn and improve. I bought a tablet and installed Paint Tool Sai but still have yet to actually get around to figuring out how to use the darn thing. And I was in the middle of writing a fanfiction I may or may not post on DeviantArt and found a really cute drawing of the pairing the fanfic was about. I was thinking about using the art as the cover to my fanfiction and credit the author in the description or at the beginning of the story. But I am worried that I am doing something frowned upon to artsy people.

So that's where I was hoping I could your guys' input. I realize a lot of people use polls to ask these sort of things but I wanted to go into a little more detail. Anyway, is it okay to use someone else's art as the cover to a story/fanfiction as long as you credit the artist?
